You can combine Equipment Breakdown and Service Line coverage for $80 a year. Service Line and Equipment Breakdown coverage are already bundled in our Premier (HO5) policy at no additional cost.
Service Line Coverage
Service line coverage is an optional add-on to most home insurance policies that provides protection against the cost of repairing or replacing damaged utility lines and pipes that run into your home.
This endorsement typically covers up to $10,000 in expenses, which may have a deductible. It is important to note that adding this coverage will increase your insurance premium. The great news is this coverage is included in our Premier (HO5) policy at no additional cost.
Service Line Coverage
Service lines are utility lines and pipes that run into your home, providing everyday services, such as electrical, water, sewer, or communication lines. This coverage insures those pipes and lines, protecting you from incurring expensive repair costs.
We highly recommend adding Service Line coverage with Equipment Breakdown coverage for comprehensive protection. The great news is Service Line coverage is already included in our Premier (HO5) policy at no additional cost. Call your agent or contact us to add this important protection today.

Replace HVAC filters regularly.
Change the filter every 1 – 3 months to improve indoor air quality, efficiency, and prolong the lifespan of your HVAC system.
Clean the coils on your fridge.
When these are exposed to a lot of dust, they can wear out the compressor and raise energy bills.
Check for pests.
Check for mice nests and other pests near wiring – such as in A/C units and lawn equipment.
Remove debris.
Remove debris from outside pipes once or twice a year. If you live in a heavily treed area, you should do this on a regular basis.
